Volleyball Update

Yes, another volleyball game! The 5th grade Trojans played Incarnation Elementary tonight and WON in 2 sets (15 -4, 15- 4). MK even was on first string and played the entire game!!! Three more games to go; I thought I'd be excited about slowing down, but this new sport's experience has been a blast! GO TROJANS!!!

It's Shower Time!

Ok, I thought I'd share some of our fun family time. My niece is getting married, and "the aunts" held a shower for her at my house. We had fun, and it was great to see all the pretty things she received. It is SO unbelievable that she is getting married! ANYWHO, we had a little comic relief during the opening of the presents. Another niece decided to add a little comic entertainment as the bride was opening presents. Never a dull moment...

I also had the privilege of taking the bride and groom's engagement picture; if I ever start a photography business (HA!), these will be in my portfolio!

We are so happy for the two of you!!!!

Have I mentioned that she is competitive? Yes, I am officially a soccer mom (wearing lipstick!!!)

I know, I know...

Well, you now understand why I debated on starting a blog; obviously, I'm not good at posting on it!! I absolutely LOVE reading my friends' blogs, and I hate it when they haven't posted anything new in the last 24 hours. HOWEVER, my "ADD" kicks in, and I hate sitting still to post on my own blog. AND...did I mention that the girls are keeping me in the road?? I wouldn't trade it for the world, however! Mary Katherine is playing volleyball and LOVIN' it! (This is the child that was determined she was NOT going to try out for the 5th grade team, but you've gotta love the Olympics...they can inspire even a 10 year old to play volleyball!) Then there is Caroline, soccer star! She is ALL OVER the field; she has made 2 goals in the past 3 games (ok, one was by accident; it bounced off her knee and went into the goal!!) And, she is also taking guitar; she wants an electric guitar, but I have told her she can rock, but she has to rock for Jesus!!! Never a dull moment, and I am so thankful for this time!

Finally got the nerve...

Ok, blogger friends, I have to admit I ride the short bus. It has taken me OVER a year to get my nerve up to finally set up my blog account. AND...my funny friends, I really have no self-confidence in blogging after reading all of your funny blogs. HOWEVER, I LURV taking pictures, and since it does not seem I will EVER get them into scrapbooks, I figured I'd put them on a blog. (I'm just saving all of my scrapbooking supplies for the nursing home!) Anywho, please just flatter me a little by checking out my blog once in a blue moon (because that is probably how often I'll update it!). I'm really just doing this to get brownie points with my girls; they will think they are famous when they see this. Oh, well, I'll take whatever I can get...
